Project Update

The house dedication will take place this Tuesday, August 26, at 6:00 PM. All are welcome to attend, especially anyone who supported the project through its construciton, fundraising, or planning of the home.
Project Background
Habitat for Humanity submitted a proposal to develop an affordable home at 82 River Street in South Acton and acquired the propery from the Town of Acton in February. Plans for the site and the home were approved. The home has been designed to blend with the neighborhood and the historic district and to meet the needs of our selected partner family, the De Souzas.

School Partnership
Habitat for Humanity North Central Massachusetts is proud to have partnered with Minuteman Regional High School on the Acton project. Students installed the plumbing and electrical systems for the house under the supervision and guidance of school teachers.
