The build is almost to the point where volunteers can assist in the construction of our home; we are organizing work days starting the last week of June. If you would like to sign up online to volunteer in the construction just click this button:

Even before constrcution begins there are numerous ways you can get involved and help us reach our goal of building the first Habitat home in Acton. In fact, more volunteer hours and effort are required on a Habitat project before a foundation is poured or the first nail is driven. To join in now, please consider attending our next monthly meeting (noted at left) and volunteering in the following areas:

• Site Hosts/Hostesses - On build days we will need individuals to sign in volunteers, ensure morning beverages and snacks are delivered, and assist in coordinating teams of volunteers during the day.
  
• In-Kind Donations - One of the keys to a successful Habitat build is having local business donate or provide at discount some of the services and materials required. Several more volunteers are needed to join the team calling on or writing to local firms. The effort does not require great knowledge of construction. .
