If you are interested in participating in the build phase of the project please read about the opportunities to help or sign up for a work day from our volunteer page. We're signing up volunteers for Saturdays in December and January.
Project Background
Habitat for Humanity submitted a proposal to develop an affordable home at 82 River Street in South Acton and acquired the propery from the Town of Acton in February. Plans for the site and the home were approved. The home has been designed to blend with the neighborhood and the historic district and to meet the needs of our selected partner family, the De Souzas.

School Partnership
Habitat for Humanity North Central Massachusetts is proud to partner with Minuteman Regional High School on the Acton project. Students are installing the plumbing and electrical systems for the house under the supervision and guidance of school teachers.
